Gator was a solid cow dog with a very high
drive and all day stay. He was easy to handle and easy to bay on any
type cattle. He's accustomed to working in the woods, in all weather
conditions, day in and day out. He and his litter mate sister,
Cinder, know their job well, and take it very seriously. For play
time, it's treeing coons, baying a hog or entertaining their 'kid'.
Gator's easy and forgiving nature was neat to watch as
Justin has tried to learn the difference between field penning and
trial penning. Gator is pictured with 1/2 sister, Sizzle, showing
her the ropes of "cowdoghood".
***Gator died at home on August 5th, 2006
from unknown causes. His "smile" will be sorely missed at home and
at work.
******As of 5/06 Gator has NALC Championship points
in Conformation.***
