Chase's owner is foreclosing on his home & can not take Chase with him. Chase is 5 yrs old, has not been around cats & is good with some dogs. He is 80lbs, house & crate trained. If a home isn't found this week Chase's owner will be taking him to the shelter on his way out of town.

AJ is 1 yr old, neutered, up to date on shots, HW Neg & on Heartguard Plus. He is house & crate trained, rides excellent in the car & walks good on a leash. He is very sweet and loving, typical puppy, full of energy. He is good with kids, dogs, & cats (lives with 2 cats). He was originally adopted from the Humane Society by a neighbor, she only had him for two months when she had to move due to a relationship breakup. I agreed to take him for a short time while we looked for a home for him. I already have 4 animals of my own and cannot keep him myself. I will have to take him back to the Humane Society.

Levee May, a catahoula-lab mix female, joined our family in January 2006 from the animal shelter in Austin, Texas. By the vet's best guess, she was 6 to 8 months at the time. A mild case of heartworms were treated successfully, and she's had no recurrences. She's house trained and obedience trained (and even knows a few tricks). She moved with us to
Portland, Maine in November of 2007, and loves the snow as much as Texas. She is an athletic dog who loves to run, jump, and swim -- she's a great off-leash companion for hikes and on-leash on runs -- yet she's also mellow indoors and not a barker. (We work at home, so she's not alone for long periods of time.) Everyone who meets her thinks she's a
sweet dog. She shares our apartment with a cat, mostly without incident; she would probably like a cat who trusted dogs. She would be better with
older children. The stress of moving to a new climate and a new space did make her aggressive toward other dogs, but over three years this has been resolving itself over time (and with some training), so she is able to spend extended periods with other dogs. We are looking for a new home for her because a baby joined our family in November of 2009. She has
not bitten anyone, but a crawling baby makes her anxious, and the added responsibilities of parenthood mean that we're not able to give her the
exercise she needs and deserves. It's only with sadness that we think about finding her a new home.

An excellent tempered 5 year old Catahoula. Lovely family dog, wonderful with kids, even when kids are rough and unreasonable (don't misunderstand.. we don't want her to endure that) Her military family has opened a day care. Day care officials say all dogs are gone. No time for her anyway. She is starved for someone to just love and need her. She just clings to people and children. Great on leash, this dog couldn't be better. This is the kind of dog people want for a family. I NEED a WA home or adopter for this dog. We allowed a family with a special needs boy to try it out and the little boy was mean to her and she took it although nervous now. We are moving her back to her original home but she can't stay there. Folks our photos aren't good but Talula loves to play, she is good with dogs and cats and kids. ANYONE WANT TO FOSTER HER FOR ME OR ADOPT HER? If it is long distance adopters.. flight costs are on you unless you want to drive to get her. This is an awesome dog and everyone sees that. She needs a family. A sensitive special dog who is longing to be needed and to be loved and appreciated for what she has to offer.

Calin is 4 years old. Her friend passed away and his wife of 65 years is heartbroken and is not able to care for her. She is being fed all the time (free feeding not good) she was his shadow on the farm. She quit eating for two weeks. She is good with kids cats and dogs. The Mom can't keep her home. She is out roaming, looking for her friend that isn't coming back. PLEASE, she is lab mix with Houla and something else. Will someone step up to foster or adopt her? We need help. She won't live if she puts her in a shelter and that is what she is facing.

Slipper's owners said they will take her to be put down if we can not find a home for her, they said they do not have the time for 3 dogs so poor sweet Slippers dies if a home isn't found in one week.
Slippers is 2 yrs old, spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm neg, house/crate trained, likes kids, not good with cats, best with a male dog.

Regan is URGENT, her owner is moving & can not take Regan with her.
Regan is a beautiful 2 yr old female Catahoula, she is spayed, up to date on shots, on heartworm prevention, approx 75 lbs, she is crate and house trained. Regan loves other dogs, kids and is fine with cats. She rides good in the car, she loves to go to the dog beach, is very lovable, and has lots of energy. Regan loves to cuddle she is a real sweetie.
