* Signing up for our volunteer transports in NO way obligates you to do transports.
If a transport is going through your area we will simply contact you to see if you are available to help.

-Things to Know-

1. Dogs travel from Shelters or Rescue to Approved Homes ONLY.

2. Dogs may or may not have a crate provided.  It is up to you if you want to use one of your own.

3. Dogs usually travel with a leash and a collar but it is handy to have your own.  I personally recommend using a training collar and keeping the dog leashed at all times even in your car.  The reason for this is some dogs are frightened or untrained and can bolt on you.  Having a collar that they can't slip, reduces the risk and the heartache.

Can you overnight a dog?
*Long Transports are usually done over 2 days so a dog needs a place for a night.
Can you pull a dog from
a local shelter and take
it to a vet?

*We are often in a real bind because we have no one local to pull a dog
from a shelter and transport  to a vet and/or boarding facility while we arrange Transport.
